Use of YouTube API Services
JP Short Video Trends uses YouTube API Services to read public information about public YouTube videos (titles, channel names, categories, durations, player sizes, thumbnails and view, like and comment counts). Information obtained from YouTube is also subject to the Google Privacy Policy.
Information about visitors
- This site does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and it does not ask visitors for any personal information.
- The dashboard application does not log individual page requests. The server's system logs, which can contain IP addresses (for example in connection errors), are deleted after at most 14 days. They are used only to keep the service secure and working.
- If the site asks for a login, the credentials are used only to check access and are not stored.
- Video thumbnails are loaded by your browser directly from YouTube's image servers (i.ytimg.com), so YouTube/Google receives your IP address and browser information when you view a page with thumbnails, under the Google Privacy Policy. No referrer is sent with those requests.
- We do not sell visitor information or share it with anyone else.
YouTube account data
This site does not ask visitors to sign in with Google or YouTube, and it does not access, collect, store or share any YouTube account data of its visitors. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated first, and users will be able to revoke access at any time through the Google security settings page.
Storage and deletion of YouTube data
- View, like and comment counts are deleted 7 days after they were read.
- Video and channel information (titles, channel names, categories, durations, thumbnails) is refreshed from YouTube while a video is tracked, and deleted if it has not been refreshed for 29 days.
- Videos we stop tracking are deleted 27 days later; videos that are deleted or made private on YouTube are removed the next time we check them.
- No YouTube data is kept longer than 30 days. The cleanup runs every hour.
